A mechanical Old Castle Dice Tower will allow you to throw one or more dice with comfort. This dice tower is designed for tabletop games in universes of fantasy and the middle ages, primarily for war games with miniatures, but it can be used to throw dice in other table games as well. The front side of the tower is interactive: by pushing on the lever made in the form of a tiny corner turret you'll not only roll your dice but also lift the portcullis of the gate, and will call the inhabitants of the castle to look out of the windows.
The Old Castle is made of excellent HDF (high density fiberboard) and decorated with an engraving depicting an astronomical clock. Dice can be placed on the top platform, after pressing the lever dice start their thundering journey through the depths of the tower and then popping out randomly; the Castle has a nice small patio with a fence that helps to keep all the dice in one place. The speed of a throw is adjusted by rotating a gear wheel on the wall of the tower: from Rapidus (fast) position to Quietus (slow) and vice versa.
There is a special small shelf for spare dice or miniatures. Assembling of this dice tower doesn't require glue, you’ll need only a detailed manual included in the kit. The assembled Old Castle can be painted with acrylic model paints.
